FF7 Intergrade Announced (FF7R PS5 update and new character DLC)

Free upgrade to PS5 is a nice announcement plus new character DLC episode (no name if peeps wanna avoid spoilers)
Plus 2 new mobile games: looks like Ever Crisis is a mobile remake of the whole FF7 compilation and First Soldier is a mobile battle royale of all things. SE really jumping onto that bandwagon

They did the same thing with Nioh upgrades. Since Nioh 1 was given out on PS+, they didn't offer it.

The new character looks fun as hell to play. I was thinking about playing through FFVIIR again the other day, but now I think I’ll wait for the upgrade and DLC

Didn’t think they’d feature her this early in the remake’s life cycle. Used the shite out of her in the OG though. Really fun character.

I bet Ever Crisis comes to consoles eventually. For the people not a fan of FFVII Remake that would be perfect.

You cannot play the DLC on PS4.
This is how I understand it.
If you already purchased the PS4 version you will get the PS5 version of FF7R free.
The DLC will only work with the PS5 version. (not available on PS4 in other words)
