Simple shite like this makes this game good:

I finished a quest in grahtwood and receive a medium armor item. I look closer and realize 5 of the set item bonuses are lit up.

Just by completing quests in the zone, i get armor rewards that are all in the same set. Just named uniquely so i didnt realize they were all a set at first.

So many times in mmos completing sets requires grinding, luck, crafting, signifigant gold etc. But in eso im able to complete a set by just playing the game regularly. Very refreshing

The game is different but fun.

I'm still trying to figure out which armor type is best for me.

I feel like the game is completely adaptable to however you want to play your character.

As in, there is no correct way or build.

I believe this is inaccurate for endgame, but it's pretty well true for leveling.

Pretty sure you can but what I saw was a crown store item. I don't know if there's a way to do it for free.

yea, im new but I seeing that too.

any class can wear any armor and wield any weapons.

So if you have a high elf sorceress and suddenly decide to level up shields, 1h swords, and respect into all health, you could.

since theres only 5 classes, the ability to make your char be anything is pretty nice

It wasn't always as easy to loot complete sets,be happy many changes have been made since launch. It's true play any way you like early on, once leveled you'll figure how you like to play and place your championship points. Always focus on passive skills, especially early on. Once in champion, health reg, critical hits and resistance as well as elemental will be key.

I appreciate all of you early players who delt with the awful beginning, to make the game good now.

Ive read the horror stories. I wouldnt of lasted 20 minutes at release. I deal with bugs all day at work. Last thing i want to see when i get home are production bugs.

Which is a weakness of this game. Also add in, your forced to use magic.

One should be able to hack, slash, arrow his way around the place. But ur stuck and forced to use magic to stay alive.

Hence why it's not a good MMO. If you ignore min/maxing and just play how you want, it's a lot of fun, but there are only a couple viable playstyles for endgame.

You could use passives and put all champion points on healing and resistances without using magic to get through the game stories and grouping(someone will heal you), but for PvP and some DLC stuff it's not enough, for that you definitely some magic. Who doesn't like magic? I tend to make tank builds that can help others while allowing me to take down bosses solo if desired

Yes. LINK

I was trying to balance my points between Magicka and Stamina, but after reading a few posts I found that it's much more effective to just dump them all into one, so I respec'd them.

So it's better to pump into one rather than evenly?

There are three things you can respec individually. Champion Points, Skill Points, and Skill Morphs. Champion points are a flat 3k gold for me, skill points are 50g per skill point you have spent, and morphs are 750g I believe (this will reset all skills you have morphed). You will not lose any progress for skills or morphs if you respec. Skill point respec is by far the most expensive, so unless you are doing a complete rebuild it's probably better to just do some skyshard gathering to get the new skills you want.

I think morrowind was the first true expansion.

The others were DLCs tied to eso+ i think.

Anyways, no you wouldnt be lost at all if you jumped into morrowind

One Tamriel is really weird in the base game. I went to Skyrim after I finished up Morrowind and it's like you start watching a movie that is halfway over. Something tells me it's only going to make sense if I do all the zones in order.

I completed the "Orrery" mission in the Dominion / elden root. Performed a ritual to crown the new queen. pretty awesome how that all went down.

the political intrigue in this game is rich.
