Experience scroll pack, use experience gain equipment, Eso plus experience bonus, and a whole bunch of champions points speed up early character leveling. Plus the new Warden character in itself lends to large experience gains.

Championship points are account wide?

Yes

It's the main reason to start new characters/try different approaches. Your mounts, collectables and bank are account wide. Each of my characters has about 300k+, so when I start a new character I usually drop a 100k in the bank to retrieve and premade experience gear, speeds things up

so i built a PC and wanted to try a MMO out, so I chose this one and got Morrowind

made an Orc Nightblade. Gotta admit, the game is pretty well done and fun. quests can be a bit wordy but that's easily skippable. map is easy to use, world is vibrant. fighting feels good enough.

after reading through some pages here, seems a lot of people made Nightblades. must be a fun class.

solid game. spent most of the early noob levels assassinating people which is what I make the character for, so that's cool. sneaking around and dealing pain with a 2 hander from stealth.

I spent some Crowns on a mount and it made things a lot better

The little storylines associated with the quests are the best part. The Morrowind expansion has some long ones

This is one of the things that has really captured my attention. Every NPC interaction is voiced well and the quests aren't just "go here, kill stuff, bring me 3 pelts".

As an example... over the weekend I had a quest to sneak into a home and steal a skull. Since I'm trespassing on the property as soon as I zone in I had to sneak around most of the NPC's (assassinated one or two because they were in the way, I didn't want to wait for them to move and ... it's fun ) before picking the lock to a back door. I had to figure out a puzzle in the manor house to open the room with the skull, but when I picked up the skull I find out the mission was just an elaborate trap!

I then have to make a choice: get arrested and lose the skull or keep the skull, kill the guards and flee through the tunnels below (I took option B).

And that's just one example of one of the bazillion quests out there.

i like dragon knight class(Nord 4 Life)

that dragon skin, and a few other skills give you major protection vs spell/weapon/etc damage.

dragon skin is one of best perks in game, you can be getting ur arse handed to you, use the dragon skin, and continue fighting while getting ur arse kicked, and continue, etc.

People love that spear dealio with Knight blade.

There's one for hidden treasure locations (dirt piles you dig up, not the pickable treasure chests) but other than that I have no idea (just started playing a couple of weeks ago).

Not a mod, and I don't how it applies outside of Xbox 1, but Craglorn has several XP grind spots, especially Skyreach catacombs, that can boost you in a few hours

this game keeps impressing me.

left the VVardenfel region and started the main quest, which begins with seeking out the benefactor. very cool start

then found the island Betnikt (sp) with Redans performing dark rituals on graveyards in Orc terrirority

eventually found my way to Daggerfall and Elder Root. All of the cities so far have been extremely well done. lots of eye candy, busy markets, NPCs galore, general intrigue everywhere

Now you can go anywhere at any level, meaning a Daggerfall Covenant Player can quest in Ebonheart Pact areas. I believe you can also see and interact with the players of the other factions as well.

My only problem with this is that the quests in the main game's zones weren't designed with this in mind. You go to an area in mainland Morrowind and you kill Covenant Soldiers. You go to Hammerfell and do the opposite. It's particularly odd if you are Daggerfall Covenant, killing members of your own faction. You're also pretty well the only representative of your particular race at least compared to the NPCs which are all of the appropriate faction.

I was wondering about that

doesn't seem like much tension between the 3 alliances. Im Daggerfall alliance but just went to elder root and am helping uncover an assassination attempt on the queen?

I kind of view myself as an independent contractor who solves problems (with steel) so I can make the story work in my mind, but, what you just mentioned does seem odd. but I see it was added as a benefit to players, giving more content, which is never a bad thing in MMOs

It was designed to be like Dark Age of Camelot. Each faction has their own unique land for PvE, but the original endgame system allowed you to travel to higher level versions of the other two factions' zones. They dropped this once they added level scaling, allowing you to play ESO a lot more like Oblivion and Skyrim not needing to worry about being a particular level to do most things.

daoc was my first MMO so 'im very familiar with Albion Midgard and Hibernia! nice reference. that's exactly what I was thinking the ebonheart/aldemi/daggerfall alliances were

and I noticed the level scaling. I like that.

all in all they've made a really good game and im still very early on. amazing because everyone wrote it off as garbage 24 months ago
