I think the game is too easy honestly . On the default settings(50%) I was shooting 30-40 under par . I bumped it up to 100% and am leading this tournament by 12 shots after 3 rounds . Have won every tourney since turning pro

That setting doesn't really mean a lot unless you're playing with an AI partner. Try playing with an AI partner on 100 difficulty every round and see how well you do.

If you're playing that well the AI partner will be able to keep up with you at the very least, if not beat you in most cases.

I can only stand AI at 90 and with only the final round partner. Usually at 90 difficulty they shoot around -10. At 100 they were shooting -12 to -13 or better, it's god mode.

Thanks will try that . I assumed (wrongfully I guess ) that increasing the difficulty would make them play better (score) whether we played together or not in the tourney . Thanks for clearing that up

I'm interested to see how you'll do. I play with hard swing and putt, no putt assist. And I only have 2 points into putting, so usually two-putting anything beyond 15 ft.

I'm able to maintain a scoring average of 65.5 with these settings. I've only been able to hold off the AI if I have a pretty good lead going into the final round.

I've won every other major but the Masters and I've played 3 seasons (amateur and in my second pro season). Think I was tied for the lead going into the last round, played with AI Patrick Cantlay and he shot -9. Tough course since I only have 2 points into putting. Haven't won the Players either.

I don’t know if I like changing the swing meter like they did, it is nice they added some color to it but they did it mid masters to me lol

When I first started playing, I was blown away at how good it was.

But it didn't take long to become way too easy. I basically never ever ever miss a fairway left or right...just won't ever happen.

That alone makes the game unplayable for me. I haven't touched it in probably over a month. Kind of a bummer because for my personal preferences, I like everything else about this game.

I just bought it for $35. Seemed worth it to give it a shot. There are a lot of good things about this game, but the ball physics absolutely break it. They are completely unrealistic.

Drives rolling 100+ yards
Irons off the tee rolling 50+ yards
A ball lands on the green with a 4 iron, rolls 20 yards across the green, through 10 feet of fringe, 5 yards of rough and then UP a hill 10 yards in "heavy rough"

None of this is realistic and it happens too often.

Are you playing career mode? Because in my very first round I had 0 drives carry more than 250 yards and every one of them had a total of 320+ because of the roll. 2 went more than 350 yards. (With the Driver)

I hit 3 irons on the short par 4s twice and it traveled nearly 300 yards even though the carry was only about 220. Course was Bandon Dunes.

I do like one more than 2k23 because I HATE the tempo swing system that they use, but the ball physics on this one are off when it lands in the fairway or on the green and then rolls. It's like the game doesn't account for change in terrain and it will roll through the rough just like it would the fairway.

If only there were a plethora of sliders to change the difficulty and ball physics and all that jazz.
