This crossed my mind as well. Given that he KEPT DOING IT it almost seems like it was a planned publicity stunt. He's certainly getting a ton of attention from the incident. Maybe he thinks any publicity is good publicity.
Apparently his first stream back after his marriage drama was his all time high for viewers with like close to 400k viewers.
There's no doubt that his first stream back after whatever length ban he has will be even bigger.

Agreed. I don’t enjoy his streams at all but props to him for the hustle. His bank account is way bigger than mine is.

People still like Kid Rock, so I'm led to believe we all have different tastes.
I've stated before that I don't have time for streamers, nothing against them, but I prefer to use my free time to actually play the games myself. The little bit I've seen of the doctor leads me to believe I wouldn't care for him, but who knows.
