I actually had forgotten I preordered it months ago and I got the notification it's getting delivered today 
i had a ton of fun playing it on N64 back in the day

We're going to see if Amazon screws me out of another release day delivery of a pre-order. If I don't get it tonight it's the last pre-order I'll ever give them.

Fingers crossed then - the delivery status makes it seem like it's at the local sorting facility but it isn't out for delivery so it hasn't been assigned to a flex driver I guess.
I pre-ordered this in January, there's no excuse for getting it most of the way here and then
I'm watching all of the changes Gamestop's made in the last four weeks, they're probably going to start getting my preorders going forward.

The guy behind Chewy.com is being made their Chairman of the Board this summer and he's spent the last few months bringing in tons of talent from Amazon and other online retailers to make changes. They've already expanded what they sell, moved their customer support back to the U.S., and in the last week I saw they are doing same day delivery using that doordash driver system like Walmart taps into plus they may be starting up a price matching system.

Picked it up. Played the first map. Really good so far. Gameplay-wise, it feels like a much smoother version of the same system, but they’ve added a shitload more content than the original from what I can tell.
Should be a lot of replayability.

Well, I guess I'm not getting it today. They sent an email saying 'Your package is on the way but running late.' and I should expect it May 1 - May 2.
Looking into it, I don't appear to have any recourse, either. If they fail to meet a release date delivery at best you are guaranteed your shipping cost refunded, which is $0, or you can refuse delivery / return the item without penalty when it finally gets here.

i'm not a big fan of the motion controls in handheld (to be fair i'm not a fan of motion controls period) but it feels and plays nicely outside of that.
