New experience for me. Tried to run a chain lightning build.. almost quit the game. Switched to Ice Shards and the game is now fun. Gonna try Rogue for Season 1.

We got rid of DOS at my household in 95.

To show you how old I am, I discovered a bug in Microsoft Word when they were trying to take over the customer base from WordPerfect. They flew a guy down to Louisiana for me to recreate the bug for them. I showed them the bug, they gave me a microsoft bag and then flew out the same day.

I'll admit...I was very sceptical. I only bought it at launch because I broke my foot and knew I would have a lot of idle time.
I'm 74 and only playing one char, so I'm sure my opinion is different than hardcore players.
I really enjoy how the game feels in general. There's a lot of good to build on. And based on how the team handles things, I think it will remain a good game.

it’s a mess but still fun. Feels like I could write a novel on what could be added to make it a millions times better.

It will improve each season. 3 months is the perfect amount of time to level one character for me. I probably won't play every season, but that is what's great about seasonal play. You can quit and come back six months later and there is nothing to catch up on.

I saw how necro was limited compared to Rogue, Druid and Barb so I ran with that to get a sense of the game. Pending release notes I'm gonna switch it up because other classes look smooth compared to necro. I didn't like bone spear so I ran more of a shadowsever build. Got to 74 but I was 2 weeks late (returned from deployment) and then had a week-long vacation.

Interesting. I'm chain lightning and am hesitant to switch to another build though I have thought a few times about the cracking build.
This weekend I am marking Alters of Lilith. Takes time but it is fun. A few of the locations are hellish to get to.
