These are the type of things that worry me if the game doesn't have a strong story. They took the things that made me fall out of love with Halo MP in Reach and just made them worse.
They talk about how this game is supposed to have some sort of incredible lifespan. Well if the story isn't that great and PvP becomes unbalanced if I haven't played in two weeks then what is there to keep my attention, especially considering that it comes out right before a very busy game launch window that just so happens to include the Halo MC collection.

Again, beta and all, but the one thing that kept sticking out to me was that it had no personality. I was wandering aimlessly along through the quests, and Dinklage was so ho-hum with his dialogue that you could have pretty much put anybody in to that role.
Also, why do they take you directly from that map after the mission is over? That countdown, and then a scoreboard, and back to your ship whether you want to you or not. Kind of takes away from the open world feel.

Iron Banner is nice with good gear, just had a 3.5 k/d
Also if you want better gear run strike on the higher difficulty setting.

Yeah it does.
Fun gameplay with the exploring and shooting, but the single player feels lifeless right now. I need to see how many story missions, planets, etc. there will be. Hopefully they have plans to explore the rest of Earth.

Yeah I was doing strike runs quite a bit and got a 62 auto rifle with 44 clip and almost maxed out rate of fire.
