If you can get a group on board to do so, i'd almost recommend not doing any research.
We went in on saturday completely blind and it was a blast. It is a really well designed raid, that it is very rewarding trying to figure out all the pieces and stuff.
Was really the first time i've been able to do that since most raids usually drop on like a Thursday or something.

I'm only power level 860 or so... is that going to be a problem? Maybe I can grind out the rest of Forsaken and all of Shadowkeep campaign before Wednesday..

That'll be tough for the raid. Ideally you'd want to be around 920 or so. First couple of encounters you'd probably be fine around 910-915. I think the final encounter is 940.

If we are going to attempt Garden of Salvation, I would like to go in blind.
And I would also ask everyone be 920 if possible. It would give us some margin for error as we figure out mechanics. If we don't finish, no big deal. This is the first chance I've had to run a blind raid.

This is a good goal to have. We didn't get to really try the final boss battle, but up until then, being 920 was very suitable. Things definitely got hectic at points, but none of us felt like we just weren't able to figure out the puzzles and stuff because we were just getting destroyed constantly.

Good news, I'm looking 718 as of today. Should be able to hit 720 tomorrow after weekly reset. Also I'm working Wednesday night, so I'm out.

No rush to make an attempt this Wednesday. If some of us are at 920 we can try otherwise I can always help others with quests and leveling up
