Any of you guys gonna be getting into this? The preload is available today for those who pre-ordered.

I'll definitely get it, but I am not expecting much at all. They moved in the opposite direction of what I wanted and the tech aspect of the game will be severely lacking. Note I never really played much pve, mostly was a pvp D1 player. Expanding patrol looks promising.

Honestly, not much. It looks like they are gearing a ton of it towards competitive play, which could be good or bad. The set weapon rolls will make gearing up a lot easier and less dependent on RNJ, but also lose the thrill of getting that god role. Should help make PVP less of an arms race though. I'm honestly not holding my breath for anything special.

. Saw something where the pre-download for Xbox was like 13GB and the PS4 one was like 30GB because of all the exclusives. Like, should I get a discount on the game until I get all that content?

This was one of the most disappointing pieces of information to me. I was really hoping for dedicated servers.

Nah, both consoles have a beta download of about 13 gigs. I believe the PS4 requires 14 or 15 gigs.

Preordered thru Amazon and got the code but feel like it forcing you to buy through PS4 in order to get the preload now. Seems like I have to wait until the 18th.

Not for the Beta, for the actual game. PS4 players are getting a ton of exclusive content at the start that xbone and PC players will probably have to wait over a year for.

PS4 is getting a few weapons and armor pieces, a ship, a strike and a PvP map. Basically the same as Destiny. That's all I've heard about.

They'll probably add some things to the exclusive list as the game progresses as well.

Got it downloaded last night (xbone).
Gamertag is Venelar. Really hoping to raid more in D2, started playing destiny pretty late in the game and didn't do much raiding. Biggest thing I miss about WoW..that weekly raid with the same players each week.
