Corndog and I have a similar build except I put even less into strength and dexterity.

as my efforts have shifted more to PvP, the level of profanity has risen at an exponential rate.

PvE, I can generally wreck shop provided I don't start acting stupid.

I believe so, I joined the covenant and have been summoned quite frequently to protect the bell.

I got invaded up there, took out the invader rang the bell. What does ringing the bell do?

Nothing. It's just a throwback to DS1.

You were being invaded by someone there to protect the bell and stop you from ringing it from what I understand.

By joining the covenant at the top of the ladder and wearing the ring you can be that invader.

It actually opens the gate so you can walk thru the mist and fight the gargoyles

And alerts everyone wearing that covenant ring to come kick your arse

Correct. Be careful tho. It will pull you from wherever you are out of the blue and put you in pvp wearing the ring. I'd recommend joining and then just hang out there for a minute

Yea, I figured he was referring to the two bells together.

Correct, but win or lose you start exactly where you left off.

Yea, I already defeated the Belfry Luna Gargoyles. I wasn't sure if I was missing some more gargoyles to fight in the Sol area. I'm gonna stick with the Heirs of the Sun and sling my Lightning Spears.

So I just found out that to find Illusion walls you can't hit them but have to press X or A?

Made my way down to the chest with Ricard's Rapier in Huntsman Copse. Thought it was weird that there was no way out, was about to Homeward Bone out of there but decided to look a little more. Found what I thought was the way out but after several strikes nothing. Button mashed on the controller out of frustration and of course the wall slides open.

Can't imagine how many I have missed since I've been going around and swinging at everything. Thought it was strange that I haven't found any yet.

I think pharros lockstone walls are the only ones that can be revealed by hitting them. All the others require mashing buttons near walls.

I, too, missed a few walls initially before I realize you press A rather than strike them.
