Be careful, had a friend get his PS4 account banned after doing a CC chargeback claim. PS flagged it as a fraudulent account and locked it. Granted, this was a few years ago so maybe they've changed.

I'm waiting until the PS5 version comes out. After reading Reddit, here, and Facebook, no way am I buying it right now.

I don’t blame you for waiting, however, the talk of it being unplayable are COMPLETELY overblown. I’ve had maybe 5% issue playing on my OG PS4 with HDR and all the graphics settings on. If I turn those off it does player a little smoother but I don’t.

I find it absolutely crazy they’re just removing it from the store.

It crashes after 30 min of playing. And repeats and repeats. It’s completely unplayable for my system.

I’m sorry but I just don’t believe this. I have a release PS4 and don’t have this issue at all. It’s crashed rarely but that’s it.

Have you tried messing with the graphics settings at all?

I’m playing on PS5 and the game crashes so much I basically quick save like every 5 minutes. No joke.

BTW, Sony just posted they are issuing full refunds to anyone that bought it and they’ve already delisted it from their store.

Yeo. Not listed on PS Store. Not even No Man’s Lie was de-listed.

CDPR fell from grace like a champ

What no one’s mentioning: even if there were no bugs, this game is boiled crap.

wow, this is a monumental frickup. As was said, not even Fallout 76 and No Man's Sky got this treatment from Sony.

That's really BAD. I can't recall anytime in years that a game like this was delisted. This is nuts.

I don't get what you're saying. You mean they're going to abandon consoles because of this?

Since the last update it’s ran fine on my old PS4. I’ve had 2 crashes in about 15 hours since then. When it first came out it crashed every 30 minutes.

Now Sony has taken the seemingly unprecedented step of pulling the PS4 version from its digital store, and said that “we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store and want a refund.” In a follow-up tweet, Sony acknowledged some people are having trouble accessing the form and said it’s “working to get it up and running as soon as possible.”

This would seemingly apply to those playing on PlayStation 5 as well, where the game runs better, but still in backwards compatibility mode. The game’s store page currently shows “release date to be determined.”

Given CDPR’s release schedule, that means the PC game will be 10 years from now.

Bethesda and Hello Games didnt publically recommend customers go to Sony and other distributors and ask for refunds for having a shitty game at launch. This is such a disaster.

From their website:

quote:

A chargeback, or payment reversal, occurs when a financial institution cancels an existing payment upon your request. If you have made a purchase on PlayStation™Network and reversed the payment, the account will be suspended until the charges are resolved.

1.05 patch is live for PS4, dropped within the past few hours. Probably the patch they promised earlier this week. Supposedly contains another batch of fixes.

The two "big" patches are still slated for January and February.

Each "hot fix" has been 10-17 GB

what a cluster frick, wanted to try the patch out to see if it fixes the issues I was having but I'll have to wait 3 hours for the 17 GB patch bc ps4 wifi sucks,
