I'm sad, but okay with it if it means a better, more complete game.
I prefer a delayed game to one with bugs that make it unplayable. I mean, the Witcher 3 had some bugs but nothing that broke it (and usually just had people chuckle, like Roach ending up on top of a building).
I'm still buying this game. With the disappointment it seems TLOU2 will be, this will be my go to game for 2020.

thought this as well, but a guy on reddit has a friend that works for a playtesting/QC company said that the game's performance is a complete disaster on current gen consoles (like sub-20 FPS lol). that's why they pushed it back. also had lots of issues with localization work

probably so. guess im gonna get it for PC just to be safe

Witcher 3 had a lot of FPS issues around its launch window, so this isn't incredibly shocking. That said, just release it as a launch title for next gen.
Rockstar should've done the same thing with GTA 5.

My question is I know it will be backwards compatible but will it perform any better on next gen or will we have to wait for a proper next gen release? CDPR hasnt stated a release window for next gen edition have they? ..only thing I 've heard is that it will be free with Smart Delivery on Series X.

My guess is that the only difference in performance will be that the PS5 won't sound like a jet engine while you play.
I have a feeling they'll release an upgraded next gen edition for the new consoles within a few month after launch.

Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red's upcoming RPG, has been delayed once again. Its new release date is set for November 19.
