I played the opening 2 hours last night on the PS5 and it was glorious. Great time so far. Looks and plays incredible.

Haven't touched this game on my Steam account since December 2020. I think I have 8 hours logged. Still going to keep waiting. Maybe 2023.

Why? it runs perfectly fine on a PC now.

I’m waiting a bit longer, just because I still have plenty of backlog to get through, and my 3600 chugged a little bit in high density areas. Combined with the fact that I’m planning to upgrade my cpu to the 5800x3D once they release the fricking thing…

Because it still needs more work. Don't care about what any of these patches have done the game wasn't ready to come out then and it's still not ready over one year later.

The driving sucks absolute arse.. I know it can't ever be GTA worthy in that regard but it really bugs me. Also the game just isn't great IMO. I think I'm jaded from getting sucked in by the hype and also having paid $60 at launch. I'm sure it's perfectly fine for those that have waited and paid much less than me.

I’m about 7 hours in and it plays amazing.
I never played it prior so I can’t compare to how it played before. I’m having a lot of fun.

I saw it on sale for $25 so I picked it up to kill some time until Elden Ring comes out this Friday. I'm about 12 hours in and really enjoying it.

I played the entire weekend on PS5 and I'm really enjoying it. The look and overall aesthetic is very pleasing (true cyberpunk neon night city at night).
All in all it's pretty good so far and a testament of not letting locked in release dates determine when a game should ship. If this version (1.5) comes out (and just a year later) then the entire situation is different. CPR doesn't take a huge hit to their rep, and we have a solid Cyberpunk game.
They basically released an alpha build to retail which is nuts to think about.
