There's no MP.

What a waste.

they can't be serious with that?

congrats on the dozens of sold copies....

Also, recently got my hands on Modern Warfare Remastered. Incredible job, looks fantastic.
My beef is with the player base. It's nothing but sniper figs now. Some maps are downright unplayable because of it.

I played MWRM for about a week and never touched it again. Was always regarded as my most beloved game of all-time as well. Just wasn't the same. I expect any other remastered game to feel the same. I'll never be suckered into buying another COD just for a remastered version of an earlier game.

Two schools of thought.

1. Why disappoint your entire player base like this when all they want is MW2R?

2. They know MW2R MP would kill their player base for Black Ops 4 or whatever crap they release this year. No one will play the next new game.

It just really doesn’t make sense while making all the sense in the world. Their best move would have been to either combine MW2R with MWR or package MW2R with the next game.

The ultimate move would be to remaster MW2 completely and skip a new game this year.

Eurogamer is also saying no MP for MW2R. What a goddamn travesty.

I would love to see their sales projections on just remastering the campaign? Who is literally going to buy that?

What a fricking joke if they don’t include MP. Who gives a frick if they’re not playing BLOPS 4. They’re still playing your game.

what are the odds the MP will be an added DLC for $20?

I don’t really know. I honestly don’t know what the point of remastering a campaign only accomplishes. The bulk of the players’ interest (read: money) in a remaster like this is in the MP. It just doesn’t make much sense to fund only a campaign remaster in this CoD franchise.

seems like the cost / benefit analysis of campaign only re-master would prevent this: Would enough people buy a campaign only remaster pay for the project?

The mindset is probably that they spent way more money and time on the new game, and they probably have micro-transactions on the new game setting them up to make a lot of money.

same. it was the only game i Platinumed back in the day.

i have fond memories of the Spec Op Wave Challenges from MW3. It was similar to zombies, but you faced off against other spec op AI. you would get rewarded with killstreaks and the works. awesome time my buds and i had back in the day.

Same. That campaign was the tits. Hell, the trailer for the game was fricking cool too. I don't think they'll stick with the whole no multiplayer thing. Seems comical really.

I also loved MW3 spec ops. Way better than WW2s "zombies"

Ok that made me laugh the remaster team is makarovs guys and the people in the airport are their customer base.

But really, they can’t possible be so obtuse as to think people would buy just a Campaign. MP would definitely have to be with it

I would pay $60 for World at War remastered. That is my favorite video game of all time.
