COD4 Remastered standalone *MIGHT* release next month

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Gamefly pages have since been pulled, but not before CharlieIntel got screenshots.
Getting out the salt shaker for a minute, it’s possible that it was some sort of mistake, or that it indicates a Gamefly-exclusive arrangement rather than a general release. Neither of those explanations are as simple as “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will be released standalone next month though, are they.
A standalone Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered makes a lot of sense, and seems more likely than Activision spinning off Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s Zombies content for standalone release, a thing that’s actually happening.
If Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is going standalone, expect confirmation at E3 2017.

Will buy unless it is a $60 shakedown.
$40 would be my limit. 20-30 would be ideal.
So glad I didn't force myself to buy COD: Infinite Shitfest just to have this.

I can understand this. It's a preference. But personally, I got bored with this game kind of quickly. I can appreciate the simplicity of it all, but it just seemed slow and uninteresting considering how far shooters in general have come. Jeff Gerstmann said it best for me, "if I could just power slide, I could probably still play this".
I might try it again eventually, but with Destiny, BF4, and Titanfall 2, I had my MP fix.

Yea, this game sucked looking back on things. At the time of original release COD4 was the tits. It was an awesome game. Everyone loved it and spent countless hours on it. I played each map of the re-release about 3 or 4 times each and that was enough for me. I have yet to play it again since probably the beginning of December. When you first plug the game in and see all those old maps it definitely has a nostalgia to it. But it certainly wares off fairly quick. I'll never buy another COD because of re-release again, I learned that much if nothing else.
I'm hoping this next release, WWII, can encompass everything COD4 had originally and at the same time give us new things that make us spend those same countless hours we once spent on COD4 back in the day. You know, back when COD was actually a beast of a game.

Honestly, it's not worth it. I have it because i couldn't help myself. Here's the problem. MW2 and Black Ops spoiled us. It was just enough flair. This is really really stripped down. Maybe that's what some people want. But i miss having multiple attachments to weapons.
The kill streaks don't really bother me as I think the 3 in this game are really well balanced. The maps are great too.
But I've been in matches where i can't even move because of quick scoping. It's just not as fun as i remember.

Nailed it . My first game was black ops 1 . I thought this would pass the time while waiting for a boots on the ground game. I get bored after about 2 games

No shite, man. I left halo because I wanted less space fighting... with jet packs, bubleshield etc infinite wars IS halo.
