This is the one true plus of GP that I can see
Only other good thing it’s gone is forced PS+ to be a legit service

There's a core audience of Xbox fans that want that, and only that. Sony has moved to more narrative driven, story games, and it seems that's what the market wants. Crap the Harry Potter game i thought was trash, because you can choose your own character. When you choose your own character, the storytelling is completely limited, and i thought the game was trash. MSFT is too woke.

I believe it was almost 2-1 360 over PS3 in the states.
And then Microsoft blew it. How do you up-end one of the most successful consoles ever (the PS2) and just give it back? It's astounding. They should do business cases around this in colleges if they don't already.
Having said all that...I've played both and am just more comfortable with xbox. Plenty of games to play. This is the first generation I haven't bought both the PS and xbox.

The rush to get the Xbox one to market and then the dud rollout killed them last cycle before it ever started
