Locking a hero means you can consume them. Lock down your SM guys. 
Prevents people from accidentally consuming the wrong hero. I always see a "I consumed my SM" threads on the IGG forums every time I go over there.
Another update this morning... they switched the town hall orientation!!! No other changes of what I can tell.

I got a paladin and Snowzilla over the weekend.
Snowzilla is really good. Ranged attack and good hps and attack.
Another thing I realized and I may be late to the game on this. A level 60 green hero is like +61 for garrison, a Level 60 green hero with a level 3 primary ability is like +175.
So if you've got the shards and want to beef up your towers, at least upgrade your backup heroes special that first level.

I haven't quite figured out my garrison yet. I just know that I think the HP increase sucks so I avoid the blue.
