I've done most from real money but I used to do a whole lot of the free ones. I can only sign up for so much free crap that runs my credit/social you know

all of my ~5k are from freebies lol
the hulu is a freebie, the gamestop(?) or gamefly one is another freebie, but I've only done the creditreport one once and it was a pain in the arse to cancel

Yeah a lot of insurance ones you don't earn till you speak to a representative. I did that once and I was harassed for 2 weeks

my plan is to save up those free 300 gems from updates and when I have 10k, I'm either going to
a. roll a shite ton of heroes (if i dont have it all at that point - i probably will though lol)
or
b. roll a shite ton of skills (gonna make a grown man cry when i end up with crappy skills lol)

i always feel i have a better chance to get a legendary if i save a bunch of gems and roll more than once

this is why a few pages back i still talk about making your account a 'smurf account' first. you can level your heroes super high, and upgrade certain things before you increase your might a whole ton.

the two heroes every team should have is druid and pumpkin. at lvl 4-5 skill, the raids are so easy...

people disagree with me, but having two totally different accounts shows me one thing...low might is the difference between an easy time or a difficult time in regards to raiding/defending base.
Everything increases might (minus walls):
hero levels
hero skills (their rollable skills or w/e you call it)
upgrading your base
building things
To limit the might increase/hike, you only build what is necessary.
You don't need mines...they really don't produce much for their might increase and your single raid will probably produce more gold than a single mine can produce in 10 hours.
You don't upgrade relic halls or hero alters either. Hero bases - you can upgrade these because each one increases 1 might. the payoff on here be monsters is great
arrow towers you upgrade as well - benefit outweigh the might because it helps for here be monsters (your easy source of hero shards)
you get lvl 5 wizard because that helps you with raid, anything else is not necessary.
You increase gold/mana vaults up til the point you need (say your champ needs 200k to upgrade, you only upgrade your vaults to max:200k gold)
@lvl 3 town hall - you get the 1st hero base and hero alter
@lvl 7 town hall - you get all 5 hero bases
I would just make a bunch of accounts. Get the ~600(?) or so free gems that you start with, get a lvl 3 town hall and build the alter/base. Roll the heroes until you get a legendary. Once you do, just power level the legendary and keep rolling with whatever gems until you get more legendaries and keep leveling them up through raid, dungeon, and here be monsters.
Like I said in my other post. My two accounts:
1 is 12k might, it has a good 5 set of champs that are 100+. I still struggle to raid other people
My 2nd account using the above method: I have 5 legends. all roughly 80-100 and I'm only at ~4500 might and still raid people for 40-50k gold/mana with ease
