Other day I scrolled through 3 load more screams and found a 38 gem on and a couple of 20+ ones plus some gems owed to me came through

I've found I can find something to sign up for then cancel for a lot of free gems on the days the game downloads suck. The anytimesub I signed up for today is kind of a pain in the arse to cancel though, have to email them to cancel the subscription

Also just rolled for a paladin. Now running with 5 legendary heros

I've had some I couldn't even email, I had to call them and listen to their bullshite pitch about keeping the account, discounts available

Grats on the Pally, he's an awesome tank. I've got him at lvl 80 w/ 3/9 skill and he has very high survivability. 3/5 Flame Guard which is a pretty good talent to him IMO.

What am I going to need to be able to run through D on HBM?

Will I need 4 archer towers to stand a chance? My heros are in the 80s do I need to have them up to 100?

It was 20% for android over valentine's day (and saturday). I should've grabbed the $10 pack seeing that I had $10 on my google account I never touched or used from buying the nexus 7.

I was able to do D with 3 archer towers and 80~ heroes. TG is a must, how are your hero bases? I level those and arrow towers exclusively and do up to E pretty easily.

Hero bases are level 10-11, archer towers are level 4 cannon tower is level 4, If I go for D I'll swap over the 3rd Cannon to Archer.

My TG is 81, my druid is 84. I think I'll have to try out your setup again if I'm going to try D, I didn't have any luck with it before though.

you might be able to do it ~50% of the time (truly depends on where they spawn).

You're better off sticking with C until the 4th tower and higher level imho.

I did D with 3 archer towers with some garrisoning and 5 legendary heroes all close to lvl 80.

That's not my original design, I copied it from someone earlier in this thread. I can easily farm HBM C with this. D-5 had me worried, but I finished it the one time I tried it.

ETA: I just started the upgrade of Town Hall to lvl 13, so in 6 days I'll have a fourth tower and will be looking for alternate design ideas.

Using a design similar to yours but with 4 towers, I was farming F for a few days before the recent update. Now I can only beat it about 25% of the time so I'm back on E and even lose there sometimes.

I'm going to experiment with a couple other setups

I don't know how you guys do it. I have 4 towers each with 3 heroes garrisoned and 4 barracks, and heroes as follows:

Druid 84
Ninja 80 (uncapped)
Paladin 77
TG 77
Champ 64

And I didn't come close to beating D the one time I tried it. My base is setup differently than yours, but mine is similar to the "death clover" I see a lot of players beating high level HBM with. If D4 wiped me out, do I even have a chance at beating D with tweaks to my base? Or do I just need to level my heroes a lot higher?

I know Ninja sucks at everything but arena, and I don't know how Champion is, I don't have one.

I find as long as I can get both TG and Druid engaged on a group, they're pretty much dead.
I'm running TG, Palladin, Druid, Spirit Mage, Pumpkin Duke...TG is 88 now, 84 Druid, 81 Spirit Mage, the other 2 are capped at 80, need more HB.

druid in the center, tg in the topleft wing, champion in the top right wing, paladin in bottom, and ninja in the other.

the reasoning is if a vault breaks the paladin tanks it next most of the time. the druid can go to either side setting off more heals. champ/tg on their respective sides for aoe. ninja could be replaced by any other hero if you have it.
