how many people here have the spirit mage? I've spend $10 on this game and done tons of free offers for gems and I'm at 9900 gems total. Not even close to the 50K you need.

i spent more than i care to admit.
I'm only looking to upgrade 5 past 100 but all but 4 heroes are stuck at 60, 80 or 100 so its going to take a while. After I get TG past 100, I will probably level up the green ones for my arrow towers.

I've spent $20 and just went over the 15k purchased gems today with all the free gems I've got.
Been doing that 230 free gems every day for the 30 free shards and the 50 gems for 1000 HB's.
Just averaged it up and it should take me about 151 days to reach 50k purchased gems for the spirit mage by doing the 230 free gems a day
currently sitting at 15,187

Yea, its called the Spirit Mage. Its only attainable by buying or doing tapjoy for 50k gems

I'm not hating on anyone for spending money on a game, I spent $100 on CoC. Just want to know if the SM is worth it

its one of the strongest heroes in the game. the damage + skill hits multiple opponents for 200%+ damage.
It has the strength and hp of a ninja, but it is ranged and the skill hits something like 3+ opponents depending on level

Actually, at level 9 he hits 10 targets for 360% damage. I don't have him leveled up much and his talent isn't great right now, so I prefer my Snowzilla with 5/5 Deadly strike, but once I get his main skill leveled up and get a decent talent on him, well, the stats speak for themselves.

Grizzly reaper is a decent replacement for Spirit Mage for those that do not want to waste money on the game

too bad lvl 9/10 skill will take you forever. God knows going to lvl 4->5 is like 4500 shards hahaha

That's a great question. If you figure it out, let me know...perhaps you're at higher levels? It seems it takes exponentially longer to get from 80 - 100 than from 60 - 80...that adds up a lot more time collecting HB from the arena. I've only been playing a little over a month.
ETA: just checked, 35 days logged in.
