Curious where the series goes from here.

I’m definitely done with D2. Bought the $100 version and never played a minute of DLC.

Hell, the game doesn’t even have Trials anymore which was the series’ best activity and the main driving force behind the game’s popularity.

I’d assume a third installment gets made at some point and I would be interested if they go back to the game’s roots.

Found the PvP nerd. You still mad you can't blink/shotgun all over the map ?

The dlc is fantastic. Get out of crucible and live a little.

No different than shadestepping and throwing smoke with a gayass hunter.

I can only do a public event so many times.

Whether you like it or not, PVP is what made D1 a success. Only time people viewed PvE was for world’s first on raids. Aside from that all the viewership was from Trials. You can bitch about PvP all you want, but it’s what makes a game like this marketable in today’s world.

Yep. Trials made D1.

I love raids and such but damn, people are unreliable to gather.

I think they just need to say "frick it" and make a matchmaking for the raids with some check points. Have the checkpoint determine who you are matched with.

I would freaking love to do the Forsaken raids but I haven't been able to because of the damn grind for light level and nobody that plays on PC.

LFGs exist for a reason.

Because Bungie couldn't their head out of their arse long enough to make a working matchmaking system. Something every other online MP and MMO game has pretty much figured out.

I would trade my BR obsession in for the original D1 Trials in a heartbeat. Not that D2 4 player crud.

Yup D1 Trials was insanely fun and addicting.

Even the hunt for god rolls kept me playing during the week. Probably spent 50 hours alone grinding for a perfect Eyasluna.

That is the most retarded shite ever. This is a typical LFG for Destiny raids

No noobs. Must have gone through raid 5 times and know what to do. No squeakers. Will check destiny tracker. Light level 600 only.

While the guy is light 560 and never went in the raid.....

There are a quite a few with stupid requirements, but the D2 companion app has some solid posts. You just have to filter through the trash to find the people that are helpful.

The LFG subreddit worked very well in D1.

I bet they'll now regret having Destiny 2 on Battle.Net instead of on Steam

Did you guys hear about game makers wanting to put there stuff on places like steam, but w/no comments and rating sections.

Epic is doing it with division 2, which is why it's going to their online store type dealio.

To be fair this is in every MMO. WoW has this shite too. It's more of a product of the work ethic/personalities of the people playing. MMOs have spent the better part of the past few years adjusting to cater to the lazy players that would have never even gotten geared in an MMO 5-6 years ago and it's created an extremely lazy player culture full of people just waiting with their hands out.

So how are lower end players supposed to level up and get better after initial release? Upper level people are entitled and shitty. If they are so good they can join or create a clan where they don't need to go into LFG.

Dude...just play on the discord. We ran through every d2 raid with two people that never raided just three nights ago.

I get this issue coming from someone that doesn't know there are other options.

You misunderstand. I'm saying LFG are full of tards that have too high of requirements and seem all mighty even though they can just join a clan and do the same thing without clogging up the LFGs. It was all in response to bonkers comment.

I got kicked from y'all's because I didn't participate enough and that's completely fine.

I'm frustrated that if I have to raid, I have to coordinate with a group or search through a LFG. I want the ability to just jump in. My main game isn't destiny and I only get on when I don't feel like playing fortnite. Matchmaking is no different than LFG anyway. No prior experience with the players.
