Did you read the asterisk from the chart you posted? They're including activity from four different CoD games into one total

It would be much more interesting to see how each title stands on its own.

It is included because that is how COD is now, everything is launched from the same application. A lot of people are not randomly playing last years COD in protest. It will mainly be Blops6/warzone players.
The game is popular still, it is not "dead", That is all I am saying.
And probably always will be on console. Casual players just don't care about the issues that Competitive or Streamers deal with.

EDIT: Not that it really matters but the Steam numbers, which people like to point out, are not that out of the norm. It is about the same as last years game. Blops 6 just launched much better this year on steam. Steam is by far the least used way to play COD.

hmmm, i don’t think this is correct. I need to see some statistics to back this up. Everything Ive read is that BO6 has fallen off quicker than in years past.

Because it has on steam. But it also launched much better than last year on steam. I worded my previous post bad but my point was the current player count is still similar.

Steam is easily tracked

Steam is such a small factor in any of this though.

Console is king for COD. Battlenet is 2nd.

I’m as casual as casual gets. The game sucks. Half the lobbies crash, it takes me ages to unlock shite without paying for it with the meta guns, I’m behind a wall still getting shot like I’m out in the open, the map is boring, amongst a million other complaints. I just don’t even turn my pc on anymore because there’s no point in even trying to play

You are not as casual as casual gets if you have a gaming PC. Sorry.
I am talking about the people who don't go to gaming forums or twitch.

I don't disagree that the game sucks. But it is not dead.

I needed a new personal computer so I bought a gaming pc because I was playing warzone. Honestly, probably a dumb purchase by me but whatever

I believe it’s a free game from January on ps5.

That’s my reasoning anyway.

I play on the console for zombies every night and dont have the same negativity of the game that the multiplayer users have expressed. I have already camo grinded all the weapons to gold or higher and happy to keep going until my work is done.

I do not care for the blackcell/battlepass promotions though. I am not paying for that shite.

A few Co-op complaints from my end:
-Co-op bugs that make it hard for each player to track their challenges. Sometimes I have to completely log out just for the 2nd user to check the accurate status of their challenge. This is my biggest gripe. Both users should be able to split screen, change their loadouts concurrently, and get prepared without having to "wait your turn" as well.

-There is a bug where another co-op user's kills or eliminations reflect on my split screen.

-My loadout is sometimes completely reset for no reason whatsoever.

Personally I have not had a bad experience playing the game unless the internet is just acting up and then there are lags that force me to leave the server.
