Literally happens every time. Not sure why everyone thinks this will change.
And 90% of the time, the result is pretty stellar.

It's the ones they don't postpone that become an issue. See Mario Tennis Aces and the like.

Really hoping the new Strikers is the best Switch Mario sports title yet. Not a high bar, but it needs to be amazing.

And yes those are second, but First party - but Nintendo is highly involved.

Translation: We have seen Elden Ring and decided to extend our development a bit so that FROM doesn't make us look silly by improving on our BOTW formula more than we did

I finally picked up BOTW for the first time since Oct 2020 and knocked off Ganon. Now on to the expansion content.

It's a drag race to see which comes out first - BOTW2 or Silksong

I'm about to give up hope that this ever actually happens. Have there been any updates?

There was supposed to be some new update "early 2022". That's all I've seen from Team Cherry.

I'm convinced the Switch will never see BotW2. It's going to be a next gen release

Having just gotten re-bitten by the BOTW bug after picking it up for the first time in 18 months, I continue to marvel at how ridiculously deep this game is.

Wild speculation-and always rumors like this; but the game will have to also be available on regular switch, right?

BOTW 2's Delay Probably Means A New Switch Console Is Releasing

What do ya'll think?

This will be built around the current switch.

The teaser video also offered a new look at a ruined Master Sword, hinting at what might befall Link in this new adventure.

I hope they improve on the weapons; and what did you think of having to get naked to stop the lightening from destroying all of your gear?

One of my favorite parts of BOTW: Was landing on top of Lizalfo's rock skeleton shaped caves and taking out the watchtower guys around the cave with precision. Then jumping down on the ledge to the open holes and rolling bombs in

I may need to replay it has been 4 years

I always carried a wooden Korok sword and would switch to the shock-proof gear at the first sign of rain, but until you could get your hands on that, it's a massive PITA.

I just finished my first node on the Trial of the Champion. It was kicking my arse until I realized it's more of a stealth combat mechanic since you only have 1/2 heart, and can use Bow & bombs too. They might not one-shot the mobs like that crazy cursed weapon does, but it beats accidentally stumbling into those sharpened barricades and dying.

I appreciated the attention to detail with it, along with leveraging the lightning to fight large groups. I'd just drop a sword and lead them to that spot when the lightning would strike.

I also liked how people on the path would run to cover during storms, and would even bitch about the weather.

When I got my first lightning storm I was climbing a side of a mountain and could not take cover.

When I played BOTW I did it with minimal cheating. I now see I missed a crap ton. My favorite village.

I'm still 90% convinced that botw2 will be a next gen release and not available for Switch.
