Interested in trying this out. I've never played any Borderlands game before. I'd probably only ever play solo - still worth getting?

Only played 30 mins or so when it dropped at 11 last night, got to level 3 I think. Went with FL4K , and having the pet is going to make it pretty damn easy as he's basically a tank. didn't play long enough to notice performance issues, and was also half a bottle deep in the jameson

Not only do I want it on Steam anyway, but this is also another good reason to wait. Any bugs should be well fixed by April.

you should absolutely get borderlands 2 and see how much you like it. Its gotta be cheap now. Its a fantastic game and these games are built for solo play too. I generally only play solo.

With a 1440p monitor, it’s hideous if I turn it down to 1080p, so I’m stuck playing it at medium 1440p and capping frames at 60 to eliminate drops. Its just not consistent. Can get anywhere from 80 down to 45 FPS at points. Lots of stutter too. So capping at 60 has made the FPS drops less noticeable!
Running Gears 5 at ultra and high settings mix and getting 80 FPS. Hopefully they can clean up pc performance. Next year I’m probably going to build a new pc, but even people with 2080ti’s are having lower frames than expected running the game maxed at 1440p.

Dang that's rough. I should be able to get over 100hz at 1440p at higher settings, I hope so at least, or I'm gonna be angry

I've played for about 2 hours. I think the story is going to be decent, but it's not quite the same wide open run and gun shooter it was before.
I'm actually a bit disappointed so far.

I've been seeing this sentiment on reddit a lot. This combined with the obvious knowledge that EGS spent A LOT (probably the largest exclusivity deal they've done) to make this a time exclusive...

I'm playing with Fl4k. His is a lot like Axton, which is what I liked on 2.
It's not as much fun as BL2, but that's not to be expected for me. BL2 is probably my favorite game of all time.
