that and the early missions don't involve a ton of bad guys and don't reward very much xp.
in some missions you'll kill 100-200 enemies and be rewarded 5k-8k XP.

Wow 100 pages. I'm really enjoying the game so far. Playing co-op when I can with some far-flung friends from school. Level 18 with Axton and building the middle skill tree. Really like the longbow turret. I'm going to keep building the middle until I get the nuke.
I agree that the story is much stronger this time. I got really into the train mission and it's aftermath. That was awesome.

Finks slaughterhouse takes forever, the bandit enemies near the end have a ridiculous amount of health. The creature slaughter dome was the opposite for me, I got through the first four rounds in 30 minutes total, but I had to recruit some help for the final round.

I too am using Axton and working on the nuke. I think I only have maybe 2 skill points left until I get it. I'm also about to unlock the bubble shield that goes around the turret as well. It's on the far right skill tree.

I fully leveled up the right skill tree and going to be just short on the far left for Axton. The shields help because you can throw it near a teammate and revive in the bubble and it gives the turret a barrier before enemies chip away health.

Again, I haven't been playing a ton due to work, so it might just seem that way. And like Dev said, the missions are a lot more deep so it probably just feels like I've been playing longer.
