I started on hard. The Deathstroke battle took me a few tries to figure out.

On a side note, both Troy Baker and Roger Craig Smith do an incredible job. If I wasn't told otherwise, I would have been convinced that it was Hamill and Conroy.
sounds like conroy
does not sound like hamill. at all

After the improvements they made from Asylum to City, this obviously had huge expectations, but come on. The story was just poor and the "twists" were awful.
It's basically just a continuation of City in terms of gameplay. Nothing new. Fun, sure. But raise the bar a little.

Guessing this game isn't all it was supposed to be with so few posts. I have both previous games and haven't finished either one.

I just beat the main story mode.
Major Spoilers below!!!!!
I still have two assassins left and a good amount of datapacks everwhere. IMO, this game is basically a continuation of Arkham City with a few wrinkles thrown in. Just because I say that does not mean its not good game. The wrinkles for example, more emphasis on detective mode and solving casefiles. Rewinding and fast forwarding a crime scene was cool.
The boss fights were awesome. Particularly deathstroke and Bane round one were the best parts of the game. Those fights were intense. The one against Deathstroke felt like a ninja fight and it required a ton of patience and understanding of what to do to beat him.
I did notice they went a lot more in depth on the building that you go inside, they're bigger than ever. Particularly, the royal hotel and GCPD and it's sewer network. I was a little disappointed in the batcave. I was hoping for something a little more high tech. Oh well.
Bane was awesome in this one and IMO it basically explained why bane is in the current state he is in in present day arkham franchise. From a cerebral powerhouse, to a brainless monster. My friends told me the ending was a little anticlimactic and I don't think so. Past two games have ended with Joker and Clayface Joker. It was time for someone else. It just so happens that setup with Joker in the chapel was a cherry on the top.
To sum it up, 8/10.

Spoilers....
He wasn't the final boss fight though. And that was good. At least not on a massive full blown fight.

At least someone feels sorry, just didn't do it for me.

I'm 5 hours into the game and I am enjoying it. If you like AC then you should like this one really.

You come across deathstroke yet?
The boss fight against him was epic.

Just might be the best boss fight ever so far in the arkham franchise.

I don't like how they switch L1 and L2 controls from the other two games

I started playing last night, got up to the point where you get the Anarky sidequest. Then I started hunting bombs.
The battle against Deathstroke was actually pretty tough. Enjoyably so, however.
My one knock at this point is that I'm playing on PC and the control scheme is atrocious. Definitely switching to a controller today/tomorrow.

It still pisses me off that he's the main villain though. I would have enjoyed it more if he weren't and just left it at Black Mask. I'd make Joker one of the assassins for sure, and his method of luring Batman in would be to plant explosives and really to put other people at risk.

Yea they fricked up Black Mask's storyline. He should have been the main villain.
And Firefly was stupid. If the insisted on giving the Joker such a large part, they should have given him the Firefly bridge bit.
