There are rumors that Minsc and Boo may turn up in the game at some point. Which would be awesome.

"Go for the eyes Boo, go for the eyes!"

Ya, I know. I also have a mouse bind to recenter the camera.

It's still just wonky for me.

Definitely took some getting used to, that's for certain.

Also, is anyone else having it where NPCs sometimes open their mouths, sometimes don't, when speaking during cut scenes?

Can't say I've seen that one, but I'm only a couple hours in. I'll keep an eye out for it next time I play.

I got a out two hours in last night. So far really enjoy it. Playing a wizard. That freaking cutscene with the dragons and the mind flayer ship teleporting was almost worth the $60 price tag alone.

I think it's because I installed it on my data drive (standard HDD) that's a bit dated instead of on my SSD. I'm going to give it a try on my laptop as well (Intel Core i7-9750H, Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 6GB Graphics, 16GB RAM, 512GB PCIe SSD) which is, admittedly, a bit more powerful than my desktop (I love upgrading it, but also usually a little trigger-shy on buying brand new parts - plus waiting to get a 3070 to upgrade my 580).

I'm just thinking it's the drive causing some issues. I've got some moments where NPCs just take forever in their combat turn and do nothing, or take forever and do something. The...

***SPOILERS****

The fight with the goblin priestess was already pretty massive, but the torturer goblin just kept taking forever and then doing nothing on his turn. That fight took a REALLY long time because of it.

I have no idea wtf any of this means but I’m running on the highest settings and haven’t encountered too many issues. Only one I’ve run into more than once is the char models mouths not moving during dialogue.

Investigated the sounds of sex in a barn and found two giants making whoopie who didn’t appreciate the intrusion. Got my shite rocked

I opened the chest in the cave where the druid is and of course didn't check for a trap.

KABOOM! There goes my entire party.

That was how I ended my brief play time last night.

I did encounter one really weird glitch.

I was fighting the last three goblins - the ones by the door leading to the druid you rescue (I walked past them, and didn't go back that way until all the leaders were dead) and one of them threw some kind of explosive that knocked me into the void.

This threw me onto my camp, downed but still my turn, and I could see companions there - including ones I have not yet encountered. It was very odd. I had to restart because I couldn't do anything beyond lie there and rotate my camera.

Yeah, so being a drow has apparently made the goblin areas uh...... a tad easier

Same, I just wandered in while thinking, "I did not expect the entrance to be this easy." Then read a bit on it, and if I had stuck with my original character (dwarf warrior) then probably not so much.

That's awesome they've gone in to that much detail with the character/NPC interactions.
