First line of that is for sure wrong. The times I have played Bangalore her passive activates when shot at without taking damage as well.

My only problem with the prowler is I can never seem to find the select fire for it. With the burst fire it just isn't that great.

Had a special level of stupid happen last night. Buddy and I are playing and we are having a good game. Random teammate hasn't done shite, but hasn't died so can't complain too much. We get down and it is us and one other squad. We are in the circle in a decently defensible location. Random decides to leave for no reason and other team sees us because he leaves. We didn't know where they were so they got the drop and killed me and my buddy. Random had retreated to some house and hidden. Well buddy and I get to a decently safe place he could have revived us. He doesn't. He waits. Other team finally finds us after about 2 minutes and kills us. Teammate takes that as the time to run out. He sends in smoke (Bangalore) to where our bodies are as the other team is looting them. He has ultimate but does not use it. He has a gun but does not use it. He runs in and tries to punch all three of them. He dies. We lose. He did 42 damage the entire game.

Only had two last night as well. And for some reason jumpmaster kept being the random. Some of these randoms are laughably bad at picking a spot to go. I'm not picky but don't try and land us late.
Rough night overall. My first time playing since Friday. I did have a 13 kill game. But rough. Not a fan of the Havoc's gimmick. I probably won't use it.

13 kill game is impressive. My most so far is an 8 kill one.
Yea the Havoc is pretty awful unless you get the turbocharger. The select fire trying to make it a DMR is bad. It does so little damage.

First game I landed hot zone and got the gold havock (turbocharger variant). Still was not much of a fan of it. Kept switching to my 301 when I felt like I was in a bind.

It is my most so far. I have had 12 like 5 times.
I should of had more as in that game I had 12 with 5 squads left. So I was hoping to have a real high game. Did not happen.

Game is pretty addicting so far. Only thing I wish was different is Gibraltar's ultimate...maybe a big shield that covers your entire team with a small killhole sort of like Mira has on R6.
The new characters sound interesting. I could see Octane's faster reloading, movement and health regeneration coming in handy.

So is this game pretty much a cross between fortnite and pubg? The kids on the baseball team I coach were telling me about it, but I was skeptical because it was a bunch of 12/13 year olds telling me

It is free just as fortnite is.
Cosmetics cost.
But free to play on PS4 and PC. Xbox requires Gold.

If you are trying to compare it to games, think of a cross between Overwatch and Blackout. It is a really good BR game though and yes it is free to play. Only thing you buy is cosmetic stuff.
