I played three matches last night. First match, I get two grenade kills and another with my spitfire. My teammates are really good and the lifeline is practically squad wiping by himself. I get downed in firefight, lifeline starts looting and let’s me die when he could’ve revived me. I quit.
Next two matches, I get good teammates but I have a pounding headache and can’t hit the broad side of a barn. I was done for the night after that.

Yeah I've been hip firing shotguns, I was really talking about automatic weapons. But I assume from the feedback it's best to hip fire those as well if you're up close.

Yea, my first answer was to any gun. You can even hipfire the wingman.

hemlock is arse on console.. my list of favorite/best guns.
1. Spitfire- far and away the best
2. R-310 -pretty clear #2 for me as well
3. wingman - could be #1 or even #5 just depending on how good you are.
4. Flatline- what kills this gun is no barrel stabilizer. recoil is tough
5. R99- it can move up or down this list depending on whether or not you have an extended mag... with a purple mag it SHREDS.
6. Peacekeeper/Eva 8 - hard to compare shotguns to full auto however I fancy both.. I dont think there is a gun I want more than the Eva8 right off drop when I need to fight off 3 people. things rips through people especially if they dont have shield.
7. Devotion- this would be higher if there was any damn energy ammo on people to make it worth using
the rest- no other gun is particularly good and i would drop them for any of the guns listed above. I left off the Gold legendary guns. also snipers have their place however I'd rather not use them.. and I'd rather my teammates not either. this game is about team shooting and I dont want my squad mates whiffing snipes when we could be working togther... thoughts? opinions?
edit: forgot the prowler. it is a good gun if you have the select fire on it. probably my #8

man I'd rather have a spitfire over wingman every day of the week and twice on sundays. people see these pros popping off with the wingman and think they can do the same... but for your average to above average player a fully stacked spitfire>>>>>fully stacked wingman...

I’m not saying you are wrong. That’s my preference. If you go back a bit I preferred spitfire as well. Once I learned the 301s recoil better I like it more. Wingman is always on me.

Half my deaths are to that combo. Not a great squad suppression gun like Spitfire but if your goal is to kill the guy directly in front of you, idk if there’s a better gun in the game other than the care package ones

Yea hemlock is basically worthless outside of some initial encounters, once people get shields.
