Anyone play Rust?

i did for a bit. time sink was a bit too much. got tired of logging in and my base being destroyed

It's really a good game, might be all time great, because of how facepunch supports this game.
2 tough for me to play, especially since i dont like key and mouse, but it can be such a ball buster.
ramsey has best videos, and welyn is becoming the new ramsey.

You just about have to be a griefer to like the game. You can spend every hour for weeks building a base only to log out for the night and the next morning you have a pile of rubble. You can follow the nice pathway of ruin to your vault where everything has been ransacked.
I'm not a fan of games that don't allow you to build an impregnable fortress.
And no matter how awesome your construction skills, a griefer will get in your base and wreck everything in a very short time.
Long term, not fun unless you are a griefer.

Welyn is by far the most entertaing though.
I liked to watch him and bloo, bought the game, got my arse kicked, and I'm back to just watching people play it.

Ramsey was the GOAT Rust content creator but I guess he got burnt out? He had a cash cow in his content but for whatever reason stopped.
I felt like Welyn was Ramsey-lite but he's grown on me.
I instantly stop watching any of the guys that obviously play on servers that they have admin access to. Too much knowledge available to manufacture content.

I actually just booted my rust server back up with the most recent update. Hopefully this hurricane doesn't knock my power out so I can play this weekend

He's been rumored to be back a ton of times, even announced a bunch of times he would come back. You could catch him with Blizzard, playing rust, while blizzard streamed, but he hasn't been on his stream in a while, although i believe they did team up for the streamer tourney.
Ramsey and Frankie were the tops in their game, and just fell off the earth. I know frankie will jump on every once in a blue moon with the one brittish chap, who he would play with, but even he hasn't come back, after he was going to come back a milllion times.

The game is a bit to grief ridden for me but... I saw some vids popping up on youtube and I have enjoyed watching Welyn.
