Anyone play Rocket League on any platform?

I've been playing this recently and can't get out of platinum. I don't have a squad to play with so I just get stuck with randos. Anybody play?
ETA: i'm on xbox but I forgot it's cross platform.

I have been getting back into it, and I play on PC. Been playing since Day 1 from back in July 2015. I have 376 hours according to my Steam profile.

Well a little game called Overwatch came out and I too have been playing that since launch - May 23, 2016.
They didn't even used to count Arcade hours but between Quick Play, Competitive, and Arcade I have over 1,000 hours on that game. But on my profile it's closer to 875. I am level 1,195 on OW.

Nice, yea I can't get out of plat. It's been the hardest to get out. I guess I'm not that good. or maybe all my teammates I get paired with actually suck.

You just started playing and you're in platinum already? Or you're just getting back into it. Because platinum is pretty damn good if you're just starting.
I just started playing in May, and I made platinum this month. And then lost it a week later, mostly due to randos that I am paired with.

I’ll have to get my Psyonix ID when I get home. Just recently switched to PC, can’t go back to my Xbox. I honestly didn’t think there would be such a big difference between the One X and a mid range PC.

Yeah. That counts time in the menu. Go to your stats in game to get your real play time.

Yea after my 10 initial games it places you in a grouping to begin the seasonal matches. I got dropped in Plat2...since I've dropped down to the fringe of gold and plat bouncing back and forth. When I start to lose 3 in a row I just back out it must not be my night.

Plat 2 here. The climb out of plat sucks, especially when you have to solo queue. I rotate well and keep good position but I'm a little off mechanically, especially in the air. Of course the mechanical mistakes are the ones your random teammates notice. Not the times you give up boomers for goals because your teammate chased you up the wall instead of waiting on the pass across the middle.
