Anyone else overwhelmed right now?

There's just too much to play and not enough time, and every game does these Seasons/Limited Events now. You can't get everything you want from every game.. I've pretty much shelved CoD MW right now but now I'm hearing it has guns behind grinding season pass levels? The hell?
I want to play Halo not feel like I need to grind in another game to get something that will go away forever. This is why I never finish single player games.

nah, we just have lives outside of gaming. lives we didn't have 10 years ago.

Yes haha. I have so much to play and so little time. Finishing Death Stranding, with the Outer Worlds, Days Gone, and RE2 on deck. Also just got Modern Warfare and the Spider-Man DLC. All of that on top of the other games I want to try on Game Pass. I'll be locked up until Cyber Punk comes out.

Not overwhelmed but I've started playing more single player games so I can limit the grind.

overwhelmed with what? I've mostly played old games this year. I would say over all, this has been a down year for all systems.

I have a backlog but I’m definitely not stressing timing of completing anything.

I play with a buddy of mine who just had a baby a couple months back.. he gets on to play Competitive OW with me and promises he won't leave the matches. We get through 2 and we start a 3rd... he leaves mid way through. Reconnects just standing in spawn, disconnects again.
I've lost two games because of him and I rage so hard... I understand why he leaves but not why he queues for competitive in the first place. Was 2690 on tank about to hit 2700 again and now I'm 2634 (had a leaver in the VERY NEXT MATCH after my friend left)

He’ll stop playing all together soon enough. Almost all my good friends have kids and they don’t do shite anymore in regards to video games.

I played through Jedi Fallen order in one week, Shenmue 3 in one week, and I've had Pokemon Sword since Saturday and have already collected all the gym badges. Also playing a bit of Day's Gone that I got on Black Friday sale at Gamestop that will probably take precedence once I finish Pokemon.
There aren't as many most-have titles this holiday season though at least not those that are lengthy games. This spring will be another story.
