I actually finished GTA5. Couldn’t make into an hour of Cyberpunk.

I powered through and finished it, but it took me some time. The story didn't draw me in - at all. I still can't really tell you what the plot is other than Arasaka = bad.

Same, i've tried twice, i don't get it. Story is stupid, environment feels hollow. I doubt i ever install it again.

I’m almost done but can’t get my self to finish.

My biggest gripe is why have all this outfit customization if you never see yourself. It’s BS

Thats the problem with every system in the game. Every thing about it is an ocean wide and puddle deep.

From boredom or too hard?

Glad to see this general sentiment. Always so confused when people act like this story is some masterpiece. The only thing cyberpunk really nailed was world aesthetics.

Evidently they have a ton of devs working on the new DLC though, so holding out hope.

Picked up CPK2077 on sale. Always planed to let them fix some stuff and catch it on the cheap.

I like it. A lot…so far..

But in no way does it belong in the same category as GTA 5.

I might give cyberpunk a second look if it had a 3rd person mode with good animations rather than the janky shite it has now.

Literally I will give them all my money if they just add this one feature.

In its current state its not bad. I enjoyed many of the side missions ( a lot more than the main story).

Despite the similarities, there's a lot of differences between the two. It's hard to compare them outside of "I like X more than Y"

GTA has more polish, gameplay wise, and the multiplayer option definitely added a huge element to keeping fans engaged.

Cyberpunk 2077 was a new world and contained a lot of different ways to fight your enemies. Cyberpunk 2077 also has a customizable protagonist as opposed to GTA V's static ones.

Really, aside from "both drive" and "both shoot" there's not a lot of similarity in the games. Aesthetics, mechanics, story, atmosphere all differ greatly.

It's like saying "Which do you prefer, World of Warcraft or Red Dead Redemption?" because you can ride a horse in both of them and kill people.
