FIFA has been ruined by ultimate team, that is the most important part of the game for the majority.

And spending ur hard earned cash on stupid packs. EA has the fools right where they want them.

Never have gotten into the FUT, but I do always collect those 40 or whatever free packs from pre-ordering .

Actually excited to see how the womens teams perform...and the individual player rankings.

I'll be pretty disappointed if they don't have their own player rankings for women. If they don't then no woman should be rated higher than any single male player.

I'm assuming they will make it that way somehow, maybe by women's teams only being able to play women's teams or something like that, but I'll be very disappointed if they don't because in reality, our women's team loses to the U.S. U17 team.

Pretty much, but it makes them a TON of money so it's hard to hate them for catering to by far their biggest game mode and a mode that makes them additional money out the arse. I got into HUT a little bit, but that was a one year thing for me.

By far my favorite part of the game though. Ultimate team play just feels different.

I refuse to spend real money on that though, just play and grind my way up to good teams.

Now, you arent wrong. EA makes a shite ton of money on FUT and will for a long time... It's basically pokemon for soccer

This will be the most under used feature ever for a video game.

Won't be hugely popular but there's more demand for it than you might expect. There are a LOT of preteen girls out there playing soccer and their dads and older brothers already have the game system for Madden/NBA/NHL/MLB/NCAA. It could help open up a new market.

Plus Team USA would be my #1 reason for buying FIFA. It's easier to be interested in a sport where your team is a serious contender.

That's what I'm leaning towards doing. If they made the career mode something like 2K I'd be happy. But I know thats highly unlikelyn

15 was little more than a roster update. In fact, the AI seemed worse in relation to 14. Could be my imagination, but it just seemed easier to score.

I have 15 because of access, because I traded it in a week after I bought it.

Never played any PES, so I have no basis for comparison.

The only thing that bugs me are the AI inbound passes. Once they get a throw in, 90% of the time they will run it out of bounds and turn it over.

I mostly play Be a Pro, with the occasional season. Never got into FUT.

As a personal rule of thumb I get a new EA game like this every two years. There usually isnt anything groundbreaking from year to year.

FIFA 15 was my least favorite FIFA since i started buying them at FIFA 12. The AI is terrible, goalies are awful, and manager mode hasn't had a change since 13. EA Sports is too lazy to actually improve any gameplay so they'll rehash the same improvements they always do.
I'm still going to buy the game because FUT is addicting (I dont buy packs) but the faster gameplay is much more enjoyable. If they would just improve the career modes and exhibition gameplay speed I'd be happy

What bugs me is that about 95% of the time the CPU will land a matrix style perfect slide tackle that turns into perfect throughball for another CPU player.

Can anyone tell me how FUT is working with the new communism rules now?

I no longer own a console but I liked FUT, only problem is that while the trading system is a cool, as a 30 y/o dad of 2 I just don't have time to really commit to it the way some 14 y/o does. Plus the whole thing with hoarding and price fixing players was bullshite, should've limited it to one instance of each player per team, no doubles, if you get a double just get a credit towards a free pack or something, and it's listed on the market for 150, would encourage people to actually collect players.

I've been playing 12 since launch on 360. Gonna get an xbone this year and can't wait for 16. From what I've read, the main updates are on the gameplay side, so hopefully a lot of the AI complaints about 15 are fixed. Supposedly they've really beefed up midfield defending.

Does PES have anything similar to the FIFA online seasons?

How UT is crack to a lot of players, it would be Pro Clubs for my friends and I. We have bitched, moaned, and rage quit it so many damn times, but we still play a couple games almost every damn night.
