The game has evolved that CJ is now way more important than Flick. I don’t even bother with scorpions anymore (partly due to all of our collective turnip profiting and island hopping teamwork).
But with shark season upon us, he buys great whites for like $22k a piece. And other sharks for nearly as much. I have no shortage of sharks on my island. Can almost catch them at will if you’re persistent enough and keep running the beaches. They aren’t nearly as rare as coelacanth or the pier fish. Plus the fins are excellent. You don’t have to waste time on large shadows anymore only to turn up sea bass after sea bass.

Good point. I generally save the expensive bugs and fish. Didn't realize how much you can make on sharks. I think my next model will be the whale shark model though.

How are some of y’all getting dragonfly models and giant rose figures? They look good.
My turnip prices were 44 this morning and 100 this afternoon after shitty prices all week long last week. Am I due for a spike? I have lots of turnips so I’m searching for a spike this week

The models are from Flick - if you have three of the same bug in your inventory, and talk to the Flick on your island and ask about commissions, he'll take your three bugs and mail you a model of that bug in the morning. Some of the bugs have a "grand" model that's just freaking huge.
CJ also does commissions for fish the same way but most of the fish models are either 1x1 or 2x1, where the grand bugs can be scaled up to 2x2.

You should put an orange in the trophy case!

Holy shite Willy, three minutes.
I might plant an Orange tree in the area.

That decking and trophy case look really cool.

Sadly I must report , after all that work to get my rocks in place (8 days) , I’m tearing it all down. My daughter (8 years old) showed me this creative waterfall garden and island she made today. I’m gonna make the exact same one with rocks in it based on her design. It’ll look great when it’s all said and done
....
Here we go again. Bring out the mannequins...
Just when I thought I was out , they pull me back in....

What's the error?
I'm not sure I totally understand the problem that you're having but you can sign up online at Nintendo Link
If she bought the gift card for it, then you just enter the code on this page. It should link to the same account on the switch.
I bought mine when they announced it and just upgraded to the family plan recently. It was a simple process and they prorated the amount I had left on my individual membership.
We enter the code and it brings us to the auto renewal page. You can use a CC or PayPal for auto renewal. When I try either I get the error. I’ll try again today and post what the error says.

Ok good deal. I think you have to set up auto renewal but can cancel it after you set it up if I'm not mistaken

We're expecting a spike in turnip prices this afternoon. Will keep y'all posted.

To continue, please access Nintendo eShop on the Nintendo Switch console linked to this Nintendo Account.

Try going through the eshop on the switch. That might be easier since you already have the accounts on the switch. Maybe that's how I did it. I bought it on the switch's eshop, then had to go online and add users to the plan so that they would have online access too.

I have a 95% chance of a large spike tomorrow morning as well. Hopefully this means we're covered as a group this week between early/late times.

That worked. My account wasn’t on the switch so there was no parent account to approve the purchase. I think he’s all set. Thanks.
