Other people can buy as well but only what you haven't bought yet. I bought a fake statue that I wanted to use as a decoration.
This is the app I use ACNH.Guide

180 last week is the best I have seen. I bought 3900 at 106 this week and prices are 135 now.

Based on turnip prophet I’m either in for a large spike (60 % probability) or decreasing (35 % probability) pattern this week.

Anyone have experience with a villager willfully moving out and how the natural replacement process works (without Amibo cards)?
Are you able to recruit animals on random islands again to find their replacement?

I had a villager I hated offer to move out and I accepted.
That day, nothing changed.
The next day, his house was in cardboard boxes. If another person had wanted him to move into their island, on that day, they could visit and talk to him and encourage him to move to their island.
The day AFTER that, he was gone and I had a lot for sale in the exact location his house was in. I used nook miles to go to different islands looking for someone I wanted, and I found one I liked and talked to them and they agreed to move in. The sign said sold on the house when I got back to my island and they moved in the day after.
So I either could have gone to nook miles islands until I found someone I wanted, or if someone was at my campsite I could have asked them to move in, or if someone else has a villager packed in boxes to move out I could have talked to that villager and had them move into the vacant house. I think you can even talk to someone else's campsite visitor but I haven't tried that yet.
If I did nothing, eventually Nook will sell it to some rando.

Beautiful ... that’s exactly what I was hoping for

I’ve got Lief and a meteor shower if anyone is looking for plants and stars, plus a bunch of oranges and peaches. Picked up some apples the other day, but if anyone can drop some cherries or pears that would be awesome. Switch fell asleep and lost connection - can make another code if anyone wants to come.
ETA: flush on fruit now, thanks squad. Will keep open for a while if anyone wants to pop in.

Thanks both of y’all for the fruit - I got the Taurus tub from Celeste too. Was able to get 3 Taurus stars from Sahiko’s island the other night, hoping for a few more to craft a couple of these bad boys.

I had my second night in a row visiting a bamboo island last night. That’s a VERY lucrative trip.
39 scorpions in ~60 mins (after clearing the island).
I don’t know what method you guys use. I discovered mine by accident:
I dig a straight line of 10 holes on west side of island. Then I run around non stop for 60 minutes like a mad man clearing beetles and roaches until scorpions spawn.
I run near them then get them to chase me behind my wall of dug holes. Luckily I’m way faster than they are and can double back and trap them behind the row of holes. Then use a net to calmly catch them from other side while they’re going nuts and can’t jump over. It’s exhilarating. Actually feels like a horror movie getting chased.
Screw that other red light-green light method. Takes way too long and I get stung nearly half the time.

I did this Sunday night without the hole part of the strategy. It gave me a new respect for you guys with your patience. I was getting so frustrated when I wouldn't see a scorpion for a few mins and realize there were probably some damn bugs hanging out on the rocks again.
