Are Cherry Blossom leafs only spawning during certain hours? They were all gone and the trees were back to normal when I was on this morning.

Thanks. I happened to get bored last night and went and caught about 20 of them. I doubt I'll get all the recipes though. Leaf eggs and sky eggs are another bottle neck that are going to stop me this year.
Friday was day 1 for me. I've got over 30 bugs, fish, and fossils waiting for Blathers to open the museum tomorrow.

Damnit I needed one more day of cherry blossoms, was trying to finish making my orchards and it was so much easier to tell the trees apart.

After a whole lot of nothing islands I finally got a good one last night.
It had a mini island right in the middle of it (surrounded by a river) that had at least 4 tarantulas constantly. If I caught 2 on the right side, 2 more would appear on the left side. It was amazing

Feel free to add me. I'm down to island hop with some of y'all. Haven't tried my hand at the turnip game yet but tomorrow will be good to give it a shot, and I'll try to keep up with the prices.
My hours are a little weird though with a newborn in our house. During the weekdays I'm generally gonna be online late, around 9 or so. But I'm happy to exchange fruit or whatever.

I haven't played much today but I've still managed to catch three oarfish during the tournament. They're all over the place today.

How do you do the fishing tournament? I haven't seen anyone on my island new. Maybe its gated and U haven't progressed far enough?

It should show up in the center of town. Begins at 9am, ends at 6pm. Talk to CJ to trigger. First round is free, 500 bells per round after that.:

Do I have to be online to let people in my island and Visa versa?
It's there any other way for nook random tickets besides miles..?
And..
I found a random villager on my first random island and asked him to move in
2 days later no sign of him, im guessing it's locked until I do during
something?
Still need 8 iron nuggets for nooks shop...
Got the museum open

You need to open up plots for new residents. Should be within your next couple of steps with Nook.

Yes. Time of Day. Location/Hemisphere. Location ON your island. Season. Fauna all play a part into what bugs/fish spawn.
For instance, big fish like Tuna spawn like 90% of the time around your dock, when they do spawn. And only at certain parts of the year/time of day.
Certain fish only spawn in Ponds/Lakes on the second or third level. Certain fish only spawn at the mouth of the river to the ocean. Certain bugs ONLY spawn on top of tree stumps or with certain flowers. Etc.

You can find people selling and trading them on many a discord for all kinds of recipes, items, and bells. It's easy to make the nook miles to get them with nook+ though. Just don't do all your easy tasks first thing when you get on, just do enough to get the nook miles.

Did you build the house plots and put all the items in the house plots that it requires? Have you even gotten to that part yet? You get the first two villagers and get plots for them. The next 3 you get the three plots and you have items you have to build and put next to them for people to move into them. The last 5 you get from nook and just put down where you want and you either have to find them on NMT islands, they just randomly move in, they visit your campsite, or you can use amiibos/amiibo cards.

Night slows down, yeah. You can still use the cranny dropbox for 80% of the day price and it gets sent to you in the morning.

Buy. How much you buy is up to you. If you can sell high or find anyone else who is selling high, it's an easy way to make bells.
