I skipped turnips this week and made 800k off of CJ. I monitored prices and still no large spike. I plan on buying this weekend and monitoring again. I still haven’t seen a large spike yet for some reason

I'll have to do the same. If you keep refreshing and looking at the bottom sometimes you get lucky when someone just creates the island. I've gotten lucky before with 500+ and no fee and no line.

It’ll be an AM spike. So keep your switch handy and keep checking back. I’ll open for couple hours no matter what, but it may not be until 10am or little later.

We have eight accounts (main + 7 subs). He gave the newer accounts the good stuff. Was able to flip Stonehenge and Statue of Liberty into 80 NMTs because we already have both. Then spent 45 NMTs on a sphinx.
Sold the pyramid for 40 NMTs, so Guliver yesterday = 120 NMTs today

Just checked my mail... I had letter and present from our island wolf. It was a painting that he said was collecting dust and he didn’t need anymore. My first thought was that no way this is a real one. I brought it to Blathers and sure enough it was a legit museum piece.
This ever happen to anyone else? That’s as many real pieces of art as I’ve received from Redd in past month.

Edit: I see where folks are speculating that the update will be available at 8 PM central tonight as the spring update was released simultaneously on Nintendo severs. The current release is scheduled for 10 AM JST on July 3rd, which is tonight for us.
Here's hoping I will be swimming this evening.
