Anyone add games to their classic console? Have one for the kids and wanted to put a few more on it. After reading up on it I have no idea how to do anything like that. Have no problem paying if someone can do it. Also if so , how many can be added?

I bought one already modded from Ebay and even sent it back to the guy to add more. You can put hundreds of games on there.I think mine has around 600-700

Here is a link to a mod service Ebay ad
LINK

There are detailed instructions on how to do it yourself on Youtube but getting the roms (games) is a bit more diffcult now. If you have any doubts I would buy an already modded unit or send yours to be modded.

If you are really into retro games you may also want to consider a PS1 Classic that is modded. I bought one off Etsy and its great. It got all the major systems plus 80's and 90's arcade game on it.

Here is a link for that one LINK Edit..sorry that one doesnt appear to have arcade games.

Do they sell those with 80's/90's arcade games too? Like Dragon's Lair, Gauntlet, etc?

The modded PS1 Classic I have has hundreds or 80's and 90's arcade games. Sorry the one I linked only has Neo Geo. Here is one that says it has 84 arcade games. LINK but its only the games. You still have to buy the PS1 classic console. These things come and go on ebay and Etsy all the time some with more or less games

Just buy a Raspberry Pi 4 and put retropi on it. You can run everything up to N64 well including PS1. N64 is just a pain to emulate.

Since EmuParadise shut down I've had a hard time finding roms. Any suggestions?

Also emu lets you finally experience the true end of Ghosts ‘n Goblins. If you can do it without save states you’re pretty much a god.

Is there one I can buy with everything already on the raspberry pi?

Here is one fully assembled with 15,000 games. Not sure if N64 is on there but you can ask. The seller may be able to put something together for you.

This is very easy to do and there's quite a bit of extra space on the NES Classic (about 300 MB). You're unlikely to run out of space unless you try adding a complete ROM set.

LINK

The most time-consuming part is finding images to use as box art, if you even care about that.

I did this with the mini SNES.. put about 200 hundred games on it.. box art and all.. I put NES, SNES, and Genesis games on it..

I was in touch with the guy on eBay but he’s not responding anymore and the listing is down.
Can that be done using a laptop? I’m totally computer illiterate but may try it if I can’t find someone to do it.
