Gold is $60 per year.

Lew, they already offer this on the 4GB model of the 360. You can get it for $99 with a 2 year contract of live at $10 per month. That's why I am guessing the price point mentioned in the link is a smaller HD.

Well then roger that. I would hope the 720 base model is bigger than 4GB though. That's not much space.

They are not that bad to be honest...and here behind enemy lines in Gumpville they do not have that many options to choose from as far as high speed connections go.

Japan is rolling out 2GB internet.

It's sad how far behind we are of other developed countries when it comes to internet access and speeds.

I think so or right there at it.

The Gestapo control of the FCC really fricks us a lot.

Frick that. I pay 40 now. Why would I pay more?

It almost seems like the $500 version includes free xbl. If they're charging $10 a month now that's a huge increase. You can get a one year card on sale from Amazon or Newegg for $35 if you keep an eye out.

I don't pay attention, so how does the FCC control the speed of the ISP?

I figured the speeds are set by the ISP, and if they only want you to have a certain speed, then that is what you're going to get, and you're going to like it!

I am not saying they directly control the speeds. I am saying the anti competition them and other federal agencies create has hurt competition and the consumer.

For years you had one home communication option and since they already had lines down in areas as the internet came along that grew into only having one service provider for it. We are really just now (within the past 2-3 years) seeing expanded options for internet.

Read about how spoiled some of these providers have become and have used stupid laws to their advantage.
