2K Sports is Back in the NFL...Sort Of

It won't be a simulation football game competitor to Madden unfortunately, but 2K sports is at least getting back in the NFL video game market
Hell, I still play All Pro Football 2K8 from time to time. Just remaster that

I sounds like it be a overtype arcade type of game, which could be fun. But knowing 2k the game will be riddled with VC and card packs.

I wish the Street series would reboot for NFL/NBA. I cant see EA doing that though.

They brought Blitz back for one year in 2012 and it was absolute garbage so I wouldn't count on quality from them in a non-simulation game (or simulation for that matter)

EA Sports exclusive deal with the NFL ends in 2021.
I'm hoping that NFL and 2K reaching a deal is a precursor towards signing EA Sports and 2K to non-exclusive deals after 2021, provided that 2K can stick the landing with whatever title they launch next year.
I'm sure EA Sports is pissing themselves at the thought of 2K possbly getting in on simulation football again. NFL 2K5 is a better game than Madden 20.

Can't wait to use VC to buy cleats and juke moves. Or get that galaxy opal Jerry Rice for my NFL MyTeam.

They’re both the same now. Yes 2k’s franchise mode is better. Also yes they’ve put a lot more into micro transactions over the years. Their MyTeam mode is the worst of all of the main sports games. Literally made a Shaq last year with 90 3pt.

Who even plays the MyTeam crap?
I thought most people spend their time on 2k playing MyPlayer, which is still a lot of fun and can be addicting. Either that or just doing normal franchise mode
