Does anyone think the girl enveloped in darkness who picks up the keyblade at the end could be kairi? Maybe under control by someone else? Just a random thought

Pretty much. They remastered the first two and bundled them. Kids will dig it.

Just so you know. This Tomb Raider is not being developed by Crystal Dynamics. Square moved them to the Avengers project.

From what we have saw it appears to continue the story/play style that I like about this franchise. It'd definitely a darker version though.

It does. But we have seen other franchises do this. Bioware moving their A team to a bigger project, from Mass Effect Andromeda to Anthem. Did not turn out well for Andromeda.
