So did you work at the beautiful spot they built on perkins not La. Lang. or in the little spot perkins/bbon where Nino's is now? (Ninos is another gem)

Weren't they also in the Laurel Lea (Highland & Staring) shopping center for a short time, where Johnny's is located now? It seems like they closed the one on Perkins (LA Lagniappe location) when they went back to Greece, then had the Laurel Lea location for a little while.

Been a big fan of Zorba’s since they were on Perkins back in the day. They do the traditional Greek dishes very well.

Last time I went there I got village salmon and it was phenomenal.

Easily the best Greek in town. You probably don’t see it discussed much because it’s not really up for debate

With that said, I do see it pop up on the occasional “top 10” thread.

The one at Sherwood an Old Hammond was either the son or nephew..open a yr or two in mid/late 1990s.

And yes Dorothy they were in the Johnnies Pizza location for a small spell back then too. as was Daily Bread nearby, and Bottavino.

Went today and had the Combination Souvlaki.

All the meat was delicious. They do a great job grilling the veggies, I just wish they put more on the plate. Would it be out of line to ask for more of it? I don't mind paying more.

Saganaki is great. Stuffed grape leaves (dolmades) and also their baklava and galatouborka for dessert is awesome
