Anybody been since the grand opening of the brick and mortar location a few days ago? According to insta, they have a few things to tweak but I can’t wait to try it. Those pizzas look so good.

Haven’t been to brick and mortar location since it opened a couple of days ago but I don’t see how it won’t be as good or better now that he has a full climate controlled restaurant at his disposal. He was making arguably some of the best (imo the best) pizza in NOLA on back of a trailer. Can’t wait to be able to get a pie or slice not only on a saturday

I walked by yesterday at 11:10am, the line was out the door. I saw they sold out by 1pm. And they have a help wanted post now on Instagram

Solid. Cheaper than Pizza D for about the same size. Good crust, solid substructure, like the crackery crust.

Will wait for things to settle down; I’m not waiting in line unless it’s John’s of Bleecker and I don’t eat pizza for lunch.

Only thing I will add, my SO said it was the closest crust to NYC crust since moving to NOLA.

Has she tried NOLA Pizza Co. and/or Pizza D?

Yep, tried pretty much all of them.

Think NOLA is probably top of the list right now. But the comment was pretty much just on the crust. Also NOLA Mia is somewhere more people should check out.

Pizza D just seems to be struggling a bit lately.

Had the Bye Felicia last night. Had to wait 2 1/2 hours after I ordered to get the pizza. It was really good but I won’t be waiting that long again. IMO, Pizza D is better but Zee’s is really good as well. I can’t for the life of me understand why their pizza oven is so small in the new store. Look like it only fits four pizzas at a time

I grabbed one last Sunday for pick up. Waited 40min. That little restaurant is the loudest place I’ve ever been in. They need to sound proof that place

Just call ahead. It really is that simple.

Think they do online orders, but they have been off and on.

Went couple weeks ago. Ate inside, hot as a mfer in there. Got a red top marg, very good, and a pepp, just regular. Imo not as good as pizza D, but definitely worth a try.

Just wanted to update this thread as the wait times have come down. Went yesterday with a group, had 3 pizzas, 2 slices, and 2 orders of garlic knots. Had all our food in about 20-25 minutes. They had a small line but it wasn't out the door.

We had the White Pie, the Bye Felicia, and the Bambino. The Bye Felica was my favorite, and I honestly think it's my favorite pizza in the city altogether.

Besides the outstanding pizza quality, I just wanted to mention that the owner was there running the kitchen and delivering the pizza's to tables. Dude was super nice and personable. Any small inconvenience that came up he took care of immediately. I will say I haven't seen customer service like that in a while. We get so used to shitty/average customer service that it was a breath of fresh air. Dude's passion really comes through, you can tell he's loving what he's doing.

I also went there for the first time this past weekend. I wanted to do the Bye Felicia but my friend who I was with is the pickiest eater on earth so I just did two slices and some knots.

Honestly it was GREAT. Great crust.
