Home brewers killed it. Could see a festival just with them, but sure that the big dogs would shite all over that.

Totally agree. Like I have said many times before, this festival is the reason I started homebrewing. I loved it three years ago and I had to get on it myself.

I see the same people there every year and to me that just goes to show, once you Zapps Beerfest, you cannot stop. It's a really well done festival.

Compared to Nola International beerfest last weekend the biggest kicker is the homebrew. Nola had bands play which I really liked and obviously it wasn't wet which was nice but overall not a big deal.

Basically were streamlining the entry, but someone shut that down because they were checking "too far away from the gate")

We were pretty far up in the line if you compare it to how long the lines ended up, and I noticed as we were going in, some man was yelling "WHERE ARE MY ID CHECKERS?!".. so that must be when they roped them back in by the gate.

Someone mentioned crazy lines, but I didn't have this issue. There was a lot of congestion between booths because they festival just isn't spread wide enough, but I never waited behind more than 2 people.. even right when we walked in.

I had already tried 3 beers while people were still coming into the festival.

I do think the area needs to be widened a little though. Nobody wants to be constantly bumping into people.

I also agree about bathrooms. Luckily, I only went once.. about an hour in, and not many people had gone yet. The line only took about 5-10 minutes and there was still toilet paper and everything in the bathroom.

Especially this year. Everybody was bunched together because of the mud.

Was more spread out last year

Of course you didn't. Every time I saw you, you were hanging next to the canoe.

Layout seemed exactly the same to me, sans stage.

Some lady was giving a tour to an older lady while I was peeing behind a shed. She stood like 15 feet from me and stared at me... She didn't say anything but she was obviously trying to get me to not pee there again... Luckily that was my last pee break.
