and you can only take three food dishes or drink items with you on your trip. You can take as much of them as you want to sustain you on your trip there and back. What would those three items be?

I doesn't matter, it could be grits, cabbage and red beans, you are going to get sick of it very soon, I would anyway.

That said I know a lot of people who could happily eat the same thing every day. My wife could easily have wheat chex for breakfast, PB&J for lunch and a chicken breast for dinner everyday for the rest of her life. No problem.

That would kill me.

I'll break it down like this...

Breakfast- Pancakes and a glass of orange juice

Lunch- French Dip with a Yellow PowerAde

Dinner- Seafood Gumbo with a glass of sweet tea

Desert- Breadpudding and a glass of milk

More than three meals, but I was having trouble choosing

For this exercise, I will assume we're weightless in space and revert back to my old eating habits.

FOOD:
Debris Gravy Cheese Fries
Tostadas with steak, chicken, cheese, beans, and loads of guacamole
Cheeseburgers with a side of chili-cheese tots

DRINK (I will also assume water is supplied):
Sangria
Veuve Clicquot
Nuvo

Shitload of boudin - and a rice cooker to heat in it.

Shitload of Grey Goose and cranberry - and an ice machine.

That is all
