I'm surprised others aren't a fan of He'Brew Lenny's RIPA.

Damn... This list is impossible. Should be more like a top 50.

Probably hard to find. I had a He'brew Hop Manna this weekend that was good.

That is a solid beer!

Trying victory Hop Devil for the first time. Mos def should have realized it wasn't stellar when I didn't see it listed here. It's not a bad beer, but not on same level as many listed here.

Ballast Point Sculpin, Southhampton, and Sweetwater are my top three but do not turn down Odell's, Ninkasi, Sam Smith, or Meantime breweries.

Haven't tried either yet, but seen them here recently....more on the "hop-to-do" list.

I liked the He'Brew Lenny's RIPA, but know several people that didn't care for it. It's a little atypical for sure with all the rye and being so strong.

Have not tried the Hop Manna.

I do like RIPAs, so it's worth a try.

How would you compare it to:
Hop Rod Rye
SN Ruthless Rye

had this last week (4 pack) way to Malty/Sweet for me. Didnt have the kick of a big IPA. Way too much Rye, but I guess that is what they were going for??

From what I remember (and it's been a year or more since I had the Lenny's...) it's got a lot more malty base to it than the two you just mentioned. Almost more of a barleywine feel to it than a true imperial IPA. It's 10% abv, so you have to have plenty of malts to hit that and plenty of hops to cover it up.

Left coast had a thick feel to it, it was nice - FIFY proof

GF Ipa was really sharp as well, haven't had the IIPA from them yet though.

Thanks for the input....might have to pass. The Ruthless has close to about how much malt I can tolerate.
