Excuse me...some also call it hotwater cornbread. Surely you've heard of that.

No idea here. Going to my bf's grandparents' house and I don't know what all they'll be making. But everything last year was outstanding so I'm sure it will be this year too.

This weekend for Ole Miss, I'm thinking of making Thanksgiving food for tailgate..

Any ideas?

I just got a casserole dish with a heated carrier so I can keep it hot for a while. I don't like to cook AT tailgate (until I get my outdoor range next season) so I'm trying to brainstorm something that will keep if I make it and bring it.

I got to get me some green been casserole on Thanksgiving.

Green bean casserole is no good unless you have the French's fried onions on top...

Pork roast
rice dressing
sweet potato casserole
macaroni and cheese (actually pasta and cheese by my sister-in-law)
eggplant and shrimp casserole
creamed peas
buttered corn
hot bread rolls
cranberry sauce
assorted deserts

No family in town this year so we're doing it different.
BBQ'd shrimp, bacon wrapped greenbeans , marinated crab claws, and bread pudding !
