It's your last meal in N.O. before you move away. Where do you go?

Real life, I hit Danny and Clyde's Friday night before Katrina. Took of Saturday on previously schedules family weekend to northshore. For better or worse, this is the default.

Both feelin po-boys...I have nothing against one of the quintessential N.O. meals, but what if you wanted something a little more upscale?

Hard to turn down that last po-boy though...

That's hard for me because I usually never order the same thing twice except for sandwiches, or steaks.

Does it have to be limited to one place? Drago's charbroiled oysters for an app and veal parm poboy from R&O's. If I ponder on this question I'll keep changing my mind!

No, I dig where your head's at. Hell, stretch it to brunch too. That's probably how it's gonna go down.

Well hell, Dante's Kitchen has a legit brunch. But that's mostly compared to the brunches I've had in BR.

Hana, uptown off of Carrollton around the corner from Camellia Grill. There are a lot of restaurants that are way better in NOLA, but since I've left, I've been trying to find a sushi place that has the rice noodle, cucumber, and Japanese mayonnaise salad they serve for years now, and I haven't found it yet.

I can find elsewhere or cook myself almost any dish the great NOLA restaurants serve, but that noodle salad has escaped me thus far.

While I appreciate the uniqueness and the thought you put into your answer, I'm gonna say that specific condiment is probably not gonna make the cut.

Well I have had this happen once just didn't realize I would be moving until after the shite hit the fan. I guess it would depend on where I was moving to and what season we were in at that time. If I was staying along the Gulf Coast and still had access to good seafood I would have to go with a RB poboy. If I was moving up north and wouldn't have access to seafood I would have to go with a soft shell crab and either raw oysters or crawfish depending on what time of year we are in.
